Donation drives are aimed specifically to collect certain items that villages in rural Laos are in need of. It may be dental or personal care kits, school supplies, or warm winter wear for the cold northern regions of Laos. Our most recent drive in November 2017, we shipped and delivered 750 backpacks with clothes, shoes, dental kits, school supplies, and toys to Luang Prabang province! In June 2016, we shipped a 20 feet container piled high with 1,500 lime green tote bags filled with coats or jackets, beanies, mitts, scarves, socks, shoes, and dental kits. To see the joy and gratitude of the children and their families was worth all the hard work in organizing such a project.
Jai Lao has donation drives each year, and they are generally right before our humanitarian service trips. You can periodically check back on our website for updates about our donation drives or check our Facebook page for to be notified soon as we know!
